Terms and conditions

Last updated: 2026-10-30

1. Who we are

The Legiscan service is provided by CRYCATCH S.R.L., registered office Via Strona 20, 00166 Roma (RM), Italia, VAT and tax code IT18260331006, REA RM-1772675, share capital € 3,00 fully paid. For any correspondence: legiscan@crycatch.com — certified email crycatch@pec.it.

2. What you are buying

Legiscan is an automated software service that analyses a website's visibility in AI assistants. The analysis has two parts: we query third-party AI assistants with questions typical of your market and measure whether and how your brand appears in the answers relative to competitors; and we examine your site for the technical requirements that determine how readable it is to automated agents.

There are three tiers:

  • Free audit — a reduced technical analysis, with the main problems named. Limited to one per user. No registration and no payment required.
  • Full report — €149 + VAT, one-off payment. It entitles you to one complete analysis.
  • Monthly monitoring — €29 + VAT per month, by subscription. It repeats the analysis every month on the associated project for the life of the subscription, and lets you request one further check at most once a week.

3. Formation of the contract and payment

The contract is formed when payment is confirmed by our payment provider. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.: we neither process nor store your card details.

The prices shown are exclusive of VAT. The VAT due is added at checkout and shown before you confirm payment: for purchases from Italy it is 22%. If you are buying as a business established in another EU member state and enter a valid EU VAT number, the supply is subject to the reverse charge under art. 7-ter of Italian Presidential Decree 633/1972 and no VAT is charged to you.

If you are buying as a business, enter your VAT number at the time of payment: it is what the invoice is made out to. The electronic invoice is issued and transmitted through the Italian Revenue Agency's Sistema di Interscambio, which delivers it to your recipient code or your certified email address; you receive it from there, not from us. If you are buying as a private individual, the invoice is emailed to you.

4. Delivery

The service is digital and delivered online. After payment the credit is applied to your account immediately and the analysis starts when you request it; completion normally takes a few minutes. The result remains available in your account as a web page and as a downloadable PDF.

For monitoring, the analysis is repeated automatically once a month until cancellation.

5. Term, renewal and cancellation of the subscription

The monitoring subscription runs monthly and renews automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time and without giving a reason from your account, through the management portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: until that date the service stays active.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you are buying as a consumer, the Italian Consumer Code gives you fourteen days to withdraw. As this is digital content supplied without a tangible medium, by requesting immediate performance of the analysis and accepting these terms you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the analysis has been completed and the report made available. If you have not yet used the credit you bought, withdrawal remains fully available.

If you are buying as a business, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. What is set out in the refund policy applies in any case.

7. What the service does not guarantee

This section is worth reading in full, because it describes a real limit of the service and not a form of words.

  • AI assistant answers are not deterministic: the same question asked twice can produce different answers. The score is a statistical measure referring to the moment of the analysis, not a stable value and not reproducible to the letter.
  • We depend on third-party services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity) over which we have no control. Models, behaviour and availability can change without notice.
  • The service guarantees no improvement in your visibility, your ranking or your revenue. What we provide are technical recommendations; applying them, and the effects of doing so, remain your responsibility.
  • The analysis covers the publicly accessible pages of the site given. Protected areas, content published after the scan, and sites that block our access cannot be assessed.

8. Acceptable use

You may only request analyses for sites you own or are authorised to act for. Automating requests, circumventing the free audit limits, reselling the reports as your own, or using the service for unlawful activity are not permitted. In case of abuse we may suspend the account, without prejudice to your right to a refund of amounts paid and not used.

9. Liability

We undertake to provide the service with due care, but we cannot guarantee absolute continuity or the absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the mandatory rights afforded to consumers.

10. Personal data

How data is processed is described in the privacy notice.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Substantial changes are notified to subscribers by email with at least thirty days' notice; if you do not accept them you can cancel before they take effect. Purchases already made are governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Italian law applies. For disputes with parties acting as businesses, the courts of Roma have exclusive jurisdiction. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence or domicile remain competent, and recourse to the European online dispute resolution platform remains available.
